Cecilia & Krzysztof

Welcome

💖 OUR STORY

Four years, three flags, two cats, one story, and many shared chapters.
We have built a life together based on support, growth, and a strong foundation. Through every change, we have learned to stay steady—and to keep choosing each other.
Now, together with Gala and Mila, all of you, and a life that feels truly our own, we celebrate this union…
And this is just the beginning.

✨The plan

📅 WEDDING DAY — MAY 8
Ceremony
We will meet a few minutes before 15:00 at the Gemeente of Den Helder
📍 [Insert Google Maps link]
Please arrive slightly early so we can start on time. We will meet outside the entrance.

Toast and Celebration
Afterwards, we will walk together to our home:
Kerkgracht 18
 📍 [Insert Google Maps link]
🚶 Walking time: approximately 20 minutes
Please note that there is no direct public transport, and it may be difficult to get a taxi at the spot.
Renting a bike at the Train Station could be useful.
We will have a relaxed gathering with:
Drinks
Snacks
Wedding cake
⏰ We will finish at around 20:00
🍽 Please note:
There will be no lunch or dinner served, so we recommend having lunch beforehand.

☕ THE DAY AFTER — MAY 9
For those staying a bit longer, we’d love to see you again for a casual coffee ☀️
📍 Café in Willemsoord, Den Helder
 [Insert Google Maps link]
This is informal and self-paid—just a chance to spend more time together.

🚆 TRAVEL

From Amsterdam Centraal to Den Helder
Take the direct train to Den Helder
Duration: ~1 hour 15 minutes
No transfers (if everything works well)
Cost of the train: around EUR20 full fee, per person per traject. You can pay contactless at the gates. There is no need to reserve a ticket in advance.
However, if you want to save some money, it is a good idea to buy the train tickets in advance (at least one week before) and in off-peak hours, as sometimes there are some discounts.
If you are planning to explore the Netherlands, getting a OV-chipkaart for ~EUR7 and a subscription could be a good idea.

🌦 PRACTICAL INFO

Weather
Dutch weather in May can be unpredictable.
In May, it may be sunny, windy, or rainy… all in one day!
👉 We recommend:
Layers
A light jacket
Comfortable shoes

👗 Dress Code
Dress according to your likes and possibilities, anything from jeans and sneakers to elegant long dresses is ok—there is no strict dress code.
We believe a celebration of this kind should be a relaxing moment.
We recommend:
Comfortable shoes suitable for walking
Layers for changing weather
✨ Cecilia will be wearing a long white dress

🌍 A mix of cultures
We’re bringing together people from Argentina, Poland, and beyond… in the Netherlands.
Things that may feel different:
Dutch timing is usually very punctual, not early, not late—just on time
The celebration will be shorter and more informal than some of you may expect
No big party or formal reception
👉 Come with an open mind and ready to enjoy something simple and genuine.

➕ Plus-Ones
Unfortunately, due to limited space at our home, we are unable to accommodate plus-ones.
We want to ensure that everyone attending the ceremony can also join us afterwards.
So if you were invited, please know it is very personal 💛

🛒 Nearby Essentials
For groceries in the Netherlands, the best is to directly go to an Albert Heijn supermarket. They are everywhere and the quality is very good.
For over-the-counter medicine, hygienical and personal care products, you can check Kruidvat.

🎁 Gifts
Your presence is truly the best gift—we don’t expect or need anything else.
If you would still insist in contributing, we will have a small fund to support the event and our home renovations.

🧘 Comfort Note
We understand that traveling can be exhausting.
Please feel free to:
Take breaks
Arrive directly at the house if needed, or leave whenever you feel tired
Do what you need to feel comfortable
This is a relaxed day—no pressure at all.

🎉 THE VIBE

This will be a simple, intimate, home-style celebration.
No formalities, no strict schedule—just good company, conversation, and a meaningful and calm moment together.

💬 FINAL NOTE
We know many of you are traveling from far away, and we truly appreciate the effort it takes to be here.
We’re trying to keep everything simple and straight-forward, so we can focus on what matters most: spending time together.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
